GP Medical Devices Transitions to 100% FSC Paper-Based UN3373 Envelopes in EasySampler Kits
GP Medical Devices is proud to announce that, starting March 1st, 2025, we will transition from plastic bubble envelopes to 100% FSC paper-based UN3373 envelopes in our EasySampler feces sample collection kits. This change aligns with our commitment to environmental responsibility while maintaining quality, safety, and affordability for our customers.
A Sustainable Shift in Feces Sample Collection
For years, GP Medical Devices has supplied hospitals and laboratories with EasySampler kits to ensure the safe and efficient transport of feces samples. Recognizing the environmental impact of plastic bubble wrap, we have made the proactive decision to replace it with 100% FSC-certified paper-based alternatives. This ensures that every EasySampler kit remains fully compliant with UN3373 regulations while reducing plastic waste and promoting eco-friendly practices in the medical sector.
Maintaining Quality and Safety in Hospital and Laboratory Environments
Our new 100% FSC paper-based UN3373 envelopes offer the same high level of protection and reliability as their plastic counterparts.
Designed to withstand the rigors of hospital and laboratory transport conditions, these envelopes provide secure containment for feces samples without any compromise on durability.
By integrating these sustainable materials, GP Medical Devices ensures that hospitals and laboratories continue to receive high-quality solutions while actively contributing to a greener future.

No Additional Cost to Customers
One of the key benefits of this transition is that our customers will experience no increase in cost. GP Medical Devices believes that sustainability should not come at a premium, which is why we have worked diligently to implement this change without affecting the affordability of EasySampler kits. Our commitment to providing cost-effective, high-quality solutions remains unchanged, ensuring that hospitals and laboratories can continue to rely on EasySampler for efficient feces sample collection.
Transition Period and Availability
This transition will officially begin on March 1st, 2025. However, pre-packed EasySampler kits already in stock may still be delivered for a short period after this date.
We appreciate our customers’ understanding as we phase out plastic bubble envelopes and move towards fully sustainable packaging.

Investment in Approval and Driving Positive Change in Medical Sample Transport
To ensure that the new paper-based envelopes meet UN3373 standards, GP Medical Devices has invested in a comprehensive testing and approval process. By taking this extra step, we demonstrate our commitment to delivering safe and reliable solutions for hospitals and laboratories.
By adopting 100% FSC paper-based UN3373 envelopes, GP Medical Devices is taking a leading role in reducing plastic waste within hospital and laboratory environments. We encourage healthcare professionals and institutions to support this initiative, recognizing that small changes in sample collection and transport can have a lasting impact on environmental sustainability.
The transition to eco-friendly packaging for EasySampler feces sample kits reflects our ongoing dedication to innovation, responsibility, and customer satisfaction. Together, we can create a more sustainable future for medical logistics without compromising on quality or cost.
